Wlm@Home – Digital Virtual Museum

At WeLoveMuseums, we’ve been working on new ways to bring you more art, and what better way then to just allow you to see the art of your choice on the digital screens you already have, when you are not using them — and so wlm@home has been developed.

WLM@home is now open for public beta – there are over 10,000 images to select, from over 1800 artists from ancient Egypt to recent times.  Once logged in, you select the artists from some 300 types, and use the various options to display images of those artists on whatever device you wish.

And now you can use WLM@home on your own inexpensive art display screen, see our
Art on my TV — DIY project

That includes screen savers, or various mobile devices.

The service supports any device that has a simple html feed, such as a web browser.  It also supports some special devices like Chumby or Iris display. It also supports any device or screen saver that supports Media RSS feeds (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_RSS).

You can find a discussion of Art ready devices as new ones become available at our site: Art on my TV
