We packed a car load of kids and headed to the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst, MA. The author and illustrator of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. A kid friendly Museum with beautiful illustrations for children and adults alike. With a hands on art studio where kids can create their very own masterpieces. A place where they can experiment with shapes, colors and textures.  Illustrations from various other artists can also be seen there. Etienne Delessert, Ruth Sanderson, David Wiesner and David Palladini to name a few. When asked “what was your favorite part of the Museum?” Joshua age 7 said “Making the art, because I like art.” This Museum indulges the kid in all of us, ages 1 to 101!
